Type / Nature of Opportunity
Full-time Research Associate role focused on legal and tax research, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement
Eligibility Criteria
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in tax, legal research, or policy work.
• Qualification: LLB, LLM, or CA. Master’s in Public Policy or a related field is a plus.
• Strong writing, analytical, and organisational skills.
• Demonstrable interest in data, public institutions, and systemic reform.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
• Conduct research on litigation, assessments, and dispute resolution processes in direct tax.
• Analyse pendency, disposal patterns, and tax related datasets.
• Draft policy briefs, blogs, case studies, and other research outputs.
• Support stakeholder workshops, roundtables, and consultations.
• Collaborate with senior practitioners and officials, including personnel from the Income Tax Department.
