Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have:
- An LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
- Enrollment with or eligibility for enrollment with the Bar Council.
- A strong foundation in legal research, drafting and interpretation of statutes and case law.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with basic office software and legal research databases.
- Prior internships or 0–2 years of experience in litigation, corporate law or general practice is preferred but not mandatory.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Drafting and reviewing contracts, pleadings, legal notices and legal opinions.
- Conducting legal research and case law analysis.
- Preparing case briefs, summaries and supporting materials.
- Assisting senior lawyers with case strategy and legal proceedings.
- Attending client meetings and hearings, as required.
- Coordinating with clients, internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Organizing case files and maintaining legal documentation.
- Monitoring deadlines and compliance requirements.
- Supporting both litigation and advisory matters.
