About the Organization
The Law Commission of India, under the Ministry of Law and Justice, Government of India, has introduced the Law Commission of India Voluntary Internship Scheme to provide law students and law scholars with practical exposure to legal research, law reform, policy development and legal system modernisation. The Scheme is effective from 1 July 2025 and provides internships throughout the year, subject to the requirements of the Commission.

Eligibility Criteria
- Law students who have completed at least:
- 2 years of a 5-year law degree course; or
- 1 year of a 3-year LL.B. course.
- Applicants must be studying at a recognised University, Law School or Law College.
- A candidate may apply under the Scheme only once during a financial year.
