- LL.B. or LL.M. from a reputed college or university.
- Freshers can apply.
- Candidates with relevant experience are also preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidates may be responsible for:
- Drafting and vetting finance and security documents relating to secured and unsecured corporate borrowings.
- Liaising with lenders, borrowers, lawyers, valuers, investors and internal teams.
- Coordinating with legal counsel for finalisation of transaction documents and agreements.
- Representing the company before government, semi-government and local authorities, as required.
- Monitoring security creation, statutory filings, insurance renewals and other post-execution formalities.
- Handling escalations relating to post-execution requirements.
- Protecting investor rights and lender interests.
- Monitoring financial and regulatory requirements, including various ratios, DRR, ratings and the financial condition of issuer companies.
- Assisting with internal and external audits.
- Undertaking other legal assignments as assigned by the company.
Required Legal Knowledge
Candidates should have knowledge of:
- Banking law and practice.
- Corporate laws, including the Companies Act and Contract Act.
- Transfer of Property Act.
- Stamp Act and Registration Act.
- SEBI Regulations.
- Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) and NCLT procedures.
- RDB and SARFAESI laws.
- Trusteeship business and related legal requirements.
