Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna, through its CNLU–GIGA Cyber Security and Data Protection Compliance Research Unit (CS-DPCRU), has invited applications for multiple contractual research positions. The Research Unit focuses on interdisciplinary work in Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence, Digital Forensics, Data Protection, Law, Governance, and Public Policy, while collaborating with academia, government, industry, and law enforcement agencies on research, policy, and capacity-building initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria
Research Associate (Law)
- LL.M. with specialization in Cyber Law, Technology Law, Information Technology Law, or Data Protection & Privacy Law.
- Must have at least one publication in a Scopus-indexed or peer-reviewed journal with proof of publication.
Research Associate (Cyber Security)
- M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc. in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, or an equivalent discipline.
Research Assistant (Policy)
- Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Economics, International Relations, Law, Public Administration, or a related discipline.
Research Assistant (Governance, Risk & Compliance – GRC)
- B.Tech./M.Tech./M.Sc. in Cyber Security, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or MBA (Information Systems/Risk Management) with relevant experience.

Mode of Work
- Full-Time

The appointments are purely contractual and project-based for an initial period of one year, extendable based on project performance and availability of funds.
Salary
- Research Associate (Law): ₹60,000 per month
- Research Associate (Cyber Security): ₹60,000 per month
- Research Assistant (Policy): ₹40,000 per month
- Research Assistant (Governance, Risk & Compliance – GRC): ₹40,000 per month
