Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be a qualified lawyer enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- Have 1–3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Possess a strong background in project development, energy law, and infrastructure transactions.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating project and commercial agreements, including:
- Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs)
- Concession and Licence Agreements
- EPC, Operation & Maintenance (O&M), and Supply Agreements
- Fuel Supply and Transmission Agreements
- Government approvals and bid documents
- Advising clients on:
- Regulatory compliance
- Land acquisition
- Environmental laws
- Electricity Act
- Public-Private Partnership (PPP) frameworks
- RERA
- SEZ regulations
- Assisting in project finance transactions, including due diligence, transaction structuring, and negotiation of financing and security documents.
- Advising developers, financial institutions, government authorities, EPC contractors, and investors.
- Coordinating with banking, real estate, and dispute resolution teams on multidisciplinary matters.
- Supporting business development through client pitches, industry research, and knowledge publications.
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments affecting the infrastructure and energy sectors.
