Legal Internship Opportunity
Position: Corporate Legal Intern
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Be pursuing an undergraduate degree in Law or a related field.
- Have an understanding of contract formation, drafting, review, and negotiation.
- Be capable of identifying key contractual and legal risk areas.
- Be comfortable handling confidential documents and sensitive information.
- Possess proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected intern will be involved in:
- Drafting, reviewing, and editing contract templates.
- Assisting in the preparation of legal documents, court filings, invoices, and supporting enclosures.
- Conducting legal research and supporting legal projects assigned by the legal team.
- Preparing and reviewing confidentiality agreements and related documentation.
- Organizing legal memoranda, case files, and client correspondence.
- Reviewing documents and publications to identify relevant legal evidence and information.
- Proofreading legal documents before submission for review.
- Assisting in the preparation of retainer agreements, engagement letters, publications, and client-facing materials.
- Participating in client intake processes and client interviews.
- Preparing motions, interrogatories, and other legal documentation.
- Observing and assisting in client meetings, mediations, trials, and outreach initiatives.
