Position: Senior Associate (SA1) – Corporate & Transactions Team
Eligibility Criteria
- 3 to 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience in corporate and transactional matters.
- Strong experience in:
- Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A)
- Corporate restructurings and reorganisations
- Regulatory advisory and compliance
- Legal due diligence
- Commercial contracting
- Corporate governance and general corporate advisory
- Schemes of arrangement and other corporate transactions
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and research skills.
- Ability to independently manage transactions and client engagements.
- Strong commercial acumen, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of professionalism and accountability.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on a broad range of corporate, transactional, and regulatory matters.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating transaction documents, commercial agreements, and corporate documentation.
- Conducting and supervising legal due diligence exercises.
- Managing transaction processes and coordinating with clients, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Assisting partners and senior members of the firm on complex transactions and advisory assignments.
- Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members.
