Eligibility Criteria
- Open to Indian nationals only
- Law students:
- 2nd and 3rd year of 3-year LL.B. course
- 4th and 5th year of 5-year integrated LL.B. course
- LL.M. students
- Students must be enrolled in recognized institutions with exposure to Competition Law
- Candidates with confirmed job placements are not eligible
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Research on competition law and related regulatory frameworks
- Work under supervision in different divisions of the Commission
- Prepare and present a report/presentation at the end of the internship
- Assist in analytical and policy-oriented assignments
Mode of Work
- Offline (On-site)
- Location: Competition Commission of India, New Delhi
Important Dates and Timelines
- Duration: Normally 1 month (extendable to 2–3 months with institutional recommendation)
- Internship begins on the 1st working day of the month
- Application Deadline: 1st of the preceding month (e.g., apply by 1st April for May internship)
Stipend / Perks
- Honorarium of ₹15,000 per month
- Certificate upon successful completion of internship

Selection Procedure
- Applications are reviewed based on eligibility and research interest in competition law
- Limited intake (approximately 15 interns per month)
Important Notes / Additional Information
- Internship is full-time and requires adherence to office hours
- Interns must maintain confidentiality and discipline
- Failure to submit final presentation may lead to denial of stipend and certificate
