About the Organization
Hikmat Helping Hands Foundation is a Section 8 not-for-profit grassroots organization working towards the empowerment of marginalized communities across India. The foundation undertakes initiatives in legal aid, social awareness, education, poverty alleviation, and youth leadership. Through pro bono legal clinics, rights-awareness programs, community outreach, and digital literacy initiatives, HHHF strives to promote social justice and inclusive development.
Type / Nature of Opportunity
Virtual Internship Opportunity with a Non-Governmental Organization
Eligibility Criteria
- Current undergraduate or postgraduate students
- Interest in human rights, social justice, public policy, or legal aid
- Ability to commit approximately 10 to 15 hours per week
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Drafting policy briefs on legal and social issues affecting marginalized communities
- Planning and executing virtual awareness campaigns
- Organising 2 to 3 local neighbourhood outreach visits for spreading awareness of fundamental rights
- Assisting in research and documentation related to social justice initiatives
