Bhavya Sinha – A Young Mind With A Pen

Bhavya Sinha is a 19-year-old law student, a writer and an author. She hails from Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh and is currently pursuing her B.A.LL. B (HONS) degree from Amity University Lucknow. She believes as a writer, her mind is the magic and pen is its wand.

She started her writing journey back in 2017 when she was 15 by writing randomly in her notes and posting them on her personal Instagram account. Writing was never her passion until she found her solace in it. Being an introvert, she preferred her notes and pen instead of gatherings and crowds.

She gradually made writing as her passion and not just another pass time. She gradually started achieving in this field. Her first achievement was in 2018 when she decided to be a co-author in an anthology and in 2020, she co-authored another book. The year of the pandemic proved to be the golden opportunity for her as she decided to go for her solo book. In January 2021, her first book came out which is available on Amazon, Flipkart, BooksClub and other online platforms.

She started participating in writing challenges, writing competitions and open mics. She has won over 20+ writing challenges, few writing competitions and an open mic. As a result of being the winner, she got the entry in 2 more anthologies. She has been a part of Irenic Magazine: Edition 1.

From just writing long forms to any genre including blogs, poetries and stories, she considers this as her progress. She herself being a dark-complexioned and vocal woman prefers to be vocal about social issues like Rape, Dark Complexion Discrimination, Periods, Mental Health and other issues. She loves to lend shoulder and ears to people who need a shoulder to cry and an ear to share their problems.

She considers herself as no counsellor but just a human and a friend for people who need it. She is working on her second solo book which will be a novel and will probably be out next year in 2022. She calls her pen as power and her thoughts as ink. She considers herself as a young mind with the audacity to be the change. She believes this is just the start of her journey and she has a very long way to go both as a lawyer and a writer.
