Legal Job Opportunity (Full-Time)
Eligibility Criteria
- LLB from a reputed law school
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in non-litigation legal work within an NBFC or banking institution
- At least 5 years of experience in team handling
- Proven experience in financial services legal advisory and compliance
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Providing legal advice on operational and business matters
- Drafting, reviewing, and vetting agreements, contracts, MoUs, and retail transaction documents
- Ensuring accuracy of loan documentation, sanction letters, mortgages, and security creation
- Verifying title deeds and legal ownership of collateral
- Monitoring compliance with RBI guidelines, NBFC regulations, SEBI norms, and applicable laws
- Handling pre-litigation matters including customer disputes, notices, mediation, and arbitration
- Managing recovery-related legal work including SARFAESI notices and non-court recovery mechanisms
- Identifying and mitigating legal risks in lending and recovery operations
- Liaising with regulators, government authorities, and registrars
- Supporting audits, inspections, and internal compliance processes
- Conducting legal and compliance training for internal teams
- Collaborating with business teams, external counsel, and stakeholders

Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of banking laws, NBFC regulations, RBI guidelines, and SARFAESI Act
- Sound understanding of property laws, Contract Act, and Negotiable Instruments Act
- Experience in recovery mechanisms and arbitration
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills
- Strong command over written and spoken English
- Ability to manage tight timelines in a fast-paced environment
