About the Organization
National University of Study and Research in Law is a premier legal institution established by the Government of Jharkhand under the NUSRL Act, 2010. The university offers B.A. LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. programmes and is recognised for its strong academic framework and research-driven environment. NUSRL hosts several research centres, including the DPIIT–IPR Chair (CSRIPR), which focuses on intellectual property research and policy studies.

Virtual Internship Opportunity in Intellectual Property Law and Research.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law Students:
- Undergraduate or postgraduate law students from recognised Indian or international institutions.
- Non-Law / Science Background Students:
- Students from B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc, MBBS, MS, MD and allied disciplines.
- A total of 10 seats are reserved for non-law students.
- Interest in IPR:
- Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in Intellectual Property Law and its socio-legal, technological, and economic dimensions.
- Two cohorts will be formed: National and International.
- 10 seats are reserved each for International candidates and Non-Law background students.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Legal and policy-oriented research in Intellectual Property Law.
- Academic writing and referencing.
- Participation in discussions and research activities related to IPR and its societal impact.
- Engagement with interdisciplinary perspectives on innovation, technology, and intellectual property.

Online / Virtual.
Duration of Internship
- One month.
Stipend / Perks
- This is an unpaid internship.
- Certificate of participation upon successful completion.
- Academic exposure and research-oriented learning under the DPIIT–IPR Chair.
