About the Job
Cogneesol is hiring an experienced Team Lead for Legal Operations with a focus on Contract Lifecycle Management. The role involves leading a high-performing legal operations team, driving operational efficiency, and scaling CLM capabilities for global clients.
Eligibility Criteria
- LLB or equivalent law degree
- 5 to 7 years of total legal experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or team management role
- Strong experience in contract lifecycle management and commercial contracts
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Leading and mentoring a team handling contract drafting, review, abstraction, and negotiation
- Overseeing end-to-end contract lifecycle management including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, SaaS, and procurement contracts
- Acting as the first point of escalation for internal stakeholders and clients
- Driving process improvements, automation initiatives, and adoption of CLM tools such as Icertis, Docusign, Ironclad, and Linksquare
- Identifying legal and commercial risks and ensuring compliance with internal policies and applicable laws
