Legal Research Job Opportunity (Contractual)
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.M. with specialization in Criminal Law, or
- M.A. or M.Sc. in Criminology, or
- M.A. or M.Sc. in Police Studies or Administration, or
- Any allied subject from a recognized Indian or foreign university
- Minimum 55 percent marks or equivalent grade
- Demonstrable research track record in Criminal Law, Criminology, Police Studies, or allied areas
- Prior research experience including field work and data collection is highly desirable
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Assisting in research, review, and analysis of institutional frameworks of policing and governance across jurisdictions
- Conducting doctrinal, empirical, and comparative research including literature review, case analysis, and data-driven research
- Supporting drafting of research outputs such as reports, briefs, and internal working papers
- Coordinating with project investigators and external consultants, where required
Mode of Work
Offline
Full-time position based in New Delhi
Emoluments / Salary
- Consolidated remuneration of Rs. 50,000 per month
Nature of Appointment
- Contractual and full-time for eight months
- Extendable subject to project requirements and performance
