Number of Positions
A total of 24 PLV positions have been notified across Jaipur district and various taluka committees. 2026020583
Eligibility Criteria
As per the notification: 2026020583
- Applicant must have passed at least the 10th standard.
- Good knowledge of reading and writing Hindi is required.
- The candidate must possess basic understanding of legal awareness and social responsibility.
- Minimum age: 21 years.
- The applicant should be physically and mentally fit.
- The applicant must not have any criminal case pending.
Preference may be given to:
- Teachers including retired teachers
- Retired government employees and senior citizens
- Law students
- Social workers
- Women working for women and child welfare
- Members of self-help groups
- Anganwadi workers
- Persons engaged in social service activities
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
As detailed in the notification, selected PLVs will: 2026020583
- Conduct legal awareness programmes in villages and communities.
- Assist in organizing legal literacy camps.
- Facilitate access to government welfare schemes and legal aid services.
- Guide eligible beneficiaries in availing legal aid.
- Assist in Lok Adalat, mediation, and other dispute resolution initiatives.
- Report social issues such as child marriage, domestic violence, bonded labour, and other violations.
- Support legal services institutions in outreach and coordination activities.
- Assist undertrial prisoners and visit jails, hospitals, and shelter homes when directed.
Mode of Engagement
- Engagement as Para Legal Volunteer under DLSA Jaipur.

Honorarium
- PLVs will receive honorarium as per NALSA norms.

Selection Procedure

- Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview.
