About the Internship
The Ministry of Women and Child Development invites applications under its official Internship Programme from women candidates interested in undertaking pilot projects or micro-studies related to the Ministry’s ongoing programmes and policy initiatives.
The internship offers practical exposure to policy formulation, programme implementation, and research focused on issues concerning women and children.
Eligibility Criteria
- Women students, scholars, social activists, or teachers
- Candidates enrolled in or associated with any university, academic, or non-academic institution
- Applicants from non-Tier I cities and rural areas of India
- Age limit: 21 to 40 years
Stipend / Perks
- Monthly Stipend: ₹20,000 (lump sum)
- Reimbursement of travel expenses (Deluxe/AC bus or 3-tier AC train) for joining and completion of the programme
- Hostel accommodation in Delhi on a sharing basis for the internship duration
