About the Internship
The DPIIT IPR Chair Internship offered by Chair for Consumer Research and Policy provides focused exposure to Intellectual Property Law with an emphasis on socio-legal research and policy perspectives. Interns will engage in structured academic research, collaborative learning, and analytical work in the evolving domain of IPR.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate legal education from a recognised institution in India or abroad
- Students from non-law backgrounds including BTech, MTech, BSc, MSc, MBBS, MS, MD, and allied science disciplines
- Applicants must demonstrate a genuine interest in Intellectual Property Law and its interface with society, technology, and economics
- Two cohorts will be constituted National and International
- Ten seats are reserved for International candidates and ten seats for Non-Law background students

- Legal and policy research in Intellectual Property Law
- Analysis of socio-legal dimensions of IPR
- Academic writing and knowledge-sharing activities
- Interdisciplinary engagement with experts and peer cohorts
