Legal Job Opportunity (Corporate Legal Role)
Eligibility Criteria
- Advanced legal degree
- Minimum 5 years of total work experience preferred
- Relevant experience in a law firm or corporate legal department, subject to local market requirements
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Vendor Management Legal Support
- Reviewing vendor contracts using established contract review checklists
- Examining vendor policies and related documentation, including website terms
- Entering contract details into the vendor management system
- Liaising on, filing, and maintaining vendor-related legal records
General Legal Support
- Reviewing standard agreements such as NDAs using predefined checklists
- Reviewing investment management agreements, prospectuses, and other legal documents
- Assisting in due diligence exercises including document review and information collation
Legal Team Administrative Support
- Monitoring and managing the central legal inbox and allocating work requests
- Maintaining work allocation spreadsheets
- Reconciling legal records and monitoring legal invoices
- Handling ad hoc administrative tasks across legal teams
Additional Responsibilities
- Supporting senior legal staff with research, analysis, and documentation
- Assisting on corporate transactions and internal legal matters
- Coordinating with business teams for legal and due diligence requirements
- Gaining exposure across multiple practice areas and business lines
- Providing guidance to junior colleagues on internal procedures, as permitted by local regulations
