About the Opportunity
Vidhigya Associates is inviting applications for its M&A, Private Equity, and General Corporate team at its Mumbai office for the following roles:
Paralegal / Long-Term Intern (M&A, Private Equity & General Corporate)
- Nature of Engagement: Full-time internship for 6 to 12 months.
- Career Progression: Opportunity for absorption as an Associate, strictly subject to performance.
Eligibility
- 5th year student of a five-year integrated law programme.
- Strong interest in corporate law, M&A, and commercial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal research on the Companies Act, FEMA, FDI and ODI framework, SEBI regulations, and allied commercial laws.
- Assisting in legal due diligence exercises.
- Drafting and vetting ancillary transaction documents including NDAs, commercial contracts, engagement letters, board and shareholder resolutions, legal notices, and closing checklists.
- Proofreading transaction documents for consistency and cross-referencing.
- Supporting regulatory filings and compliance documentation.
- Assisting on select assignments with the Capital Markets team, as required.
