About the Job
Infosys is inviting applications for the position of Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel to support its European business operations. The role involves handling complex commercial IT contracts, cross-border negotiations, and providing strategic legal advisory support to business and senior management teams.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor of Laws (Honours)
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Drafting and reviewing complex commercial IT contracts governed primarily by Dutch and other European laws, including IT outsourcing, IT services, alliance, subcontracting, and licensing agreements
- Reviewing Requests for Proposals and assisting business teams in preparing and responding to RFPs
- Participating in negotiations with customers and vendors across BeNeLux and continental Europe
- Ensuring compliance with internal contracting policies, approval procedures, and risk mitigation requirements
- Analysing legal and commercial risk issues and providing clear recommendations to business teams and senior management
- Acting as an interface between regional offices and global headquarters
- Creating and standardising contract templates, including translation and localisation as per applicable laws
- Providing legal advisory support on corporate compliance matters
- Tracking relevant laws, regulations, and policy developments impacting the company’s business
- Sharing knowledge on local laws and business trends within the global Infosys legal community
