About the Job
Frido is hiring a Legal Associate with 1 to 2 years of experience to support its Private Equity and Venture Capital legal work, with significant hands-on exposure to real estate related transactions. The role offers in-depth involvement in investment transactions, compliance, and governance matters within a growing in-house legal team.
Eligibility Criteria
- Law graduates from the 2023 or 2024 batch
- 1 to 2 years of relevant legal work experience
- Prior experience at a law firm, preferably in a PE or VC team, or in an in-house legal role
- Mandatory experience in real estate transactions, due diligence, or documentation
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Legal support for Private Equity and Venture Capital transactions
- Conducting and supporting investor due diligence
- Drafting and negotiating term sheets, Share Subscription Agreements, and Shareholders’ Agreements
- Managing ongoing compliance under the Companies Act, FEMA, and FDI Policy
- Advising on governance structures, board matters, and exit-related provisions
- Coordinating with external counsels to ensure transaction readiness
- Handling real estate-linked transactions and related documentation
