About the Job
Invesco is inviting applications for the position of Legal Analyst to support its global legal teams across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions. The role involves extensive legal, regulatory, and documentation-related responsibilities within the investment management and financial services ecosystem.
Eligibility Criteria
Professional Experience
- 1 to 3 years of legal work experience.
- Prior experience with an investment advisor, mutual fund group, or regulatory environment is preferred.
Educational Qualification
- Degree in Law.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
- Understanding of technology contracts and standards.
- Exposure to corporate governance.
- Working knowledge of securities laws and back-office operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and adapt to flexible working hours.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with Americas, EMEA, and APAC legal teams on joint projects.
- Drafting, reviewing, analysing, and negotiating commercial, vendor, SaaS, software licensing, confidentiality, and professional services agreements.
- Managing and maintaining online legal document repositories.
- Responding to subpoenas, summons, garnishment notices, and other legal process requests.
- Updating fund disclosure documents and filing regulatory amendments for Retail, ETF, and Interval Funds.
- Supporting litigation-related research including class action and bankruptcy matters.
- Assisting in fund governance, board materials preparation, and portfolio disclosure processes.
- Supporting derivatives-related documentation including ISDA amendments and agreements.
- Reviewing compliance policies to identify legal and regulatory risks.
- Interacting regularly with overseas colleagues and cross-functional teams.
