Eligibility Criteria
• Candidate must be a Law Graduate.
• Must have passed LL.B. examination in or before the academic session 2023–2024.
• Age as on 31 January 2026:
- 25 years for General category
- 26 years for OBC
- 27 years for SC/ST
• Must have working knowledge of Hindi and English.
Tenure
• Initial engagement for 1 year.
• Extension of up to 2 additional years may be granted based on performance, efficiency, and conduct.
Remuneration
• First Year: Rs. 30,000 per month
- Rs. 5,000 per month to be retained as performance and conduct security deposit.
• Second Year: Rs. 35,000 per month
- Up to Rs. 7,500 per month retained as security deposit.
• Third Year: Rs. 40,000 per month
- Up to Rs. 10,000 per month retained as security deposit.
The retained amount shall be kept in a separate bank account as a fixed deposit and will be released subject to satisfactory completion of tenure and compliance with conditions.
Selection Procedure
• Selection will be based on marks obtained in a written examination.
• The written test will be conducted at U.P. RERA Headquarters, Lucknow.
Important Conditions
• The position is full-time in nature.
• Selected candidates cannot practice as an advocate, work as Law Clerk, Legal Practitioner, or pursue any other full-time or part-time course during the tenure.
• After completion of 12 months or more of engagement, the candidate shall not appear before U.P. RERA for 2 years as an advocate on behalf of any party.
• Candidates must reside in the city of posting.
• Annual leave entitlement: 12 days per calendar year.
