About the Role
The organization is seeking an experienced Corporate Lawyer with strong expertise in Trademarks, Intellectual Property Rights, Company Compliance, and E-commerce laws. The selected candidate will support business operations by managing legal risks, safeguarding brand assets, and ensuring regulatory compliance for product-based and marketplace businesses.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Managing and overseeing corporate legal matters, including compliance and advisory
- Handling Trademark registration, objections, oppositions, renewals, and enforcement
- Managing Intellectual Property Rights and brand protection strategies
- Drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, influencer agreements, and partnership deeds
- Ensuring compliance under the Companies Act, including MCA filings and statutory requirements
- Advising on e-commerce, marketplace policies, and product-based business regulations
- Managing legal documentation related to advertising, marketing, and branding
- Coordinating with external consultants, authorities, and government bodies
- Maintaining systematic legal records and documentation
- Monitoring legal risks and ensuring proactive compliance
Eligibility Criteria / Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Corporate Lawyer or Legal Counsel
- Strong knowledge of Trademark Law, IPR, and brand protection
- Practical experience in company compliance and corporate governance
- Sound understanding of e-commerce and marketplace regulations
- Expertise in drafting and vetting commercial and corporate agreements
- Familiarity with advertising, marketing, and digital business legal frameworks
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and handle sensitive legal matters responsibly

- Experience working with marketing agencies, product-based brands, or e-commerce companies
