About the Job
Pride & Justice Associates is inviting applications for a full time on site Associate position. The role involves active participation in litigation matters, legal drafting, research work and court appearances, along with handling client related responsibilities.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Law
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of professional working experience
- Strong drafting, legal research and case analysis skills
- Courtroom experience and sound knowledge of legal procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced litigation environment
- Prior experience in handling clients will be preferred
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Drafting pleadings, applications and written submissions
- Appearing before courts and assisting in litigation proceedings
- Preparation for hearings including final arguments
- Developing strategies for day to day court matters
- Handling cases from initiation to final disposal
- Delegation and supervision of research and drafting work assigned to Junior Associates
- Mentoring Junior Associates and resolving work related issues
- Preparation of briefing notes and hearing notes
