Legal Job Opportunity – Legal Associate (Labor & Employment)
Eligibility Criteria
- LL.B. or an equivalent law degree from a recognized university in India.
- Prior professional legal experience is mandatory.
- Experience in labor and employment law is strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting US-based companies, law firms, or legal teams is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with US employment law, litigation support, or corporate legal matters will be an added advantage.
- Excellent legal research, drafting, analytical, and English communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working remotely.
- Reliable home office with a Windows computer and stable internet connection.
- Candidates must be available to work US (New York) business hours (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Eastern Time).
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Assist with labor and employment matters, including litigation support and case management.
- Conduct legal research on US employment laws, regulations, and related legal issues.
- Draft and review legal correspondence, memoranda, agreements, employment policies, and other legal documents.
- Support the development, review, and implementation of company-wide employment policies.
- Research and address employment-related queries for the US-based team.
- Assist with corporate filings, legal compliance, and record management.
- Maintain confidential legal files and case documentation.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external legal counsel.
- Support additional legal, compliance, and corporate projects as assigned.
