Legal & Compliance Intern
Eligibility Criteria
- Final year or penultimate year students pursuing LL.B. (3-year/5-year course)
- Recent law graduates
- Candidates with a strong interest in:
- Capital Markets
- IPOs
- Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs)
- Corporate Law
- Secretarial Compliance
- Prior internship experience in law firms, financial services, compliance, or corporate legal teams will be preferred.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
IPO & Transaction Support
- Assisting in legal documentation for IPO assignments
- Supporting due diligence, document review, and transaction tracking
- Preparing agreements, declarations, resolutions, and regulatory filings
- Coordinating with consultants, legal counsels, and stakeholders
AIF & Regulatory Support
- Assisting in legal research and documentation relating to AIFs
- Supporting fund structuring and investor documentation
- Monitoring regulatory developments in financial services
Corporate Legal & Compliance
- Drafting and reviewing NDAs, service agreements, advisory agreements, and corporate documents
- Conducting legal and compliance research
- Maintaining compliance and litigation trackers
Secretarial & Governance Support
- Assisting in Board Resolutions, Minutes, Notices, and secretarial records
- Supporting Companies Act, 2013 compliances
- Maintaining statutory records and governance documentation
General Legal Support
- Managing legal repositories and records
- Assisting in policy drafting and compliance reporting
- Undertaking ad-hoc legal assignments as required.
Mode of Work
On-site / Offline
Location: Lower Parel, Mumbai
Important Dates and Timelines
- Duration: 3–6 Months
- Internship may be extended based on performance.
