Think India is a legal research and advocacy platform that facilitates internships and research collaborations with leading academics and practitioners. The assignment is supervised by Prof. (Dr.) Bimal N. Patel, Member-Designate of the United Nations International Law Commission.

Remote Research Assistantship / Internship in International Law
Eligibility Criteria
- Students in the 3rd year or above of a five-year integrated law degree, or final-year students of a three-year law degree.
- Prior study of Public International Law is required.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Conduct background research on topics under consideration by the International Law Commission.
- Engage with research propositions related to international law.
- Produce concise written outputs and support academic research tasks as assigned.

Duration and Timelines
- Preferred duration: 3 months, extendable based on mutual agreement and performance.
- Last date to apply: 12 December 2025.
- Interview date: 14 December 2025.

- Exceptional interns may have the opportunity to attend an ILC session in Geneva in person. Travel and attendance will be at the candidate’s own expense and subject to feasibility.
