Nasik Police sends Notice to Union Minister Narayan Rane

Despite getting bail to Union Minister Narayan Rane within the slap statement case, yet there’s no relief to him. In fact, currently, the Nasik police have sent a notice to Rane in reference to the FIR against him and asked him to appear in the police station on 2 September. In view of the protection, police officers are deployed outside the residence of Union Minister Narayan Rane in Mumbai.

Narayan Rane’s son Nitesh on Tuesday attacked the Maharashtra government over his father’s arrest by posting a video on Twitter presently after an hour. The video denoted by Nitesh is a part of a scene from the film Rajneeti and shows actor Manoj Bajpayee warning of ‘a befitting reply’. Actually, Rane had recently given a press release statement concerning Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. In this statement, he had spoken of criticizing Thackeray further as allegedly slapping him.

After this statement, an FIR was registered against him on the grounds of the statement. Rane was formally in remission after being taken into custody on Tuesday afternoon. According to the information, another case was conjointly registered against Union Minister Rane in Naupada, Thane. According to Thane police, the case was registered underneath sections 500, 505(2), 153-B(1)(c) of IPC.
