Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council is a not for profit public sector enterprise under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. BIRAC works as an industry academia interface and supports research, innovation, IP management, funding access, and technology advancement in the biotech sector. Its schemes and programmes aim to bridge gaps in innovation, encourage product development, and strengthen India’s biotech ecosystem through national and global partnerships.
