Type / Nature of Opportunity Full-Time Legal Job Opportunity Position: Senior Associate – Merger & Acquisition (M&A) Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities The selected candidate will be responsible for: Drafting and reviewing client deliverables, including reports, proposals, legal advice, opinions, emails, and presentations. Identifying restructuring options based on the commercial objectives of proposed reorganisations. Identifying legal and commercial issues and presenting potential solutions. Conducting detailed fiscal and regulatory reviews covering: Direct Tax Company Law SEBI regulations FEMA Stamp Duty Accounting and commercial implications Reviewing transaction documents, including: Business Transfer Agreements Share Purchase Agreements Subscription Agreements Trust Deeds Asset Sale/Purchase Agreements Implementing schemes of arrangement, including mergers, demergers, and capital reductions.
