Position: Researcher
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline such as Law, Journalism, Political Science, International Relations, Criminal Justice, Forensic Science, or a related field from a recognized university.
- Possess strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Be capable of handling multiple assignments while meeting strict deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- 0–3 years of work or internship experience in research, law, journalism, finance, or a related field.
- Working proficiency in an additional language.
- Experience using public records databases such as Westlaw, Nexis, Accurint, or other open-source intelligence (OSINT) research tools.
- An advanced degree will be considered an added advantage.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected Researcher will:
- Conduct due diligence research on individuals and companies across multiple jurisdictions.
- Examine public records, litigation documents, corporate filings, regulatory actions, and other publicly available information.
- Analyze findings and prepare comprehensive due diligence reports for clients.
- Brief case managers and senior leadership on investigation outcomes.
- Support litigation, compliance, and investigative assignments through detailed legal and factual research.
