The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) is a statutory regulatory body established under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016. The Board is responsible for regulating insolvency professionals, insolvency professional agencies, information utilities, and related processes under the insolvency framework in India.

Eligibility Criteria
For Law Discipline:
Essential Qualifications
- LL.B. or equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institution.
- Qualified to be enrolled as an Advocate with a Bar Council constituted under the Advocates Act, 1961.
Desirable Qualifications
- Consistent high academic performance.
- LL.M. or Doctoral Degree in Law or a closely related area.
- Degree/Diploma/Certification in Regulatory Law, Business Law, or Economics.
Experience Requirements

Only post-qualification experience will be considered.
Areas of Work
Selected candidates will assist the Board in the discharge of its functions under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, particularly in matters relating to insolvency law, regulatory frameworks, research, and policy support.
Duration of Engagement
- Initial engagement will be for one year.
- The contract may be extended based on organizational requirements and satisfactory performance.
Remuneration

Additionally, a 10% annual increase is admissible as per the applicable regulations.

Selection Procedure
- In case applications received exceed four times the number of vacancies, a scrutiny committee may shortlist candidates.
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to furnish self-attested copies of supporting documents and produce originals when requested by IBBI.

- Experience in NCLT, NCLAT, IBBI, Insolvency, and IBC-related matters should be specifically indicated in the application form.
