About the Organization
JeevikaSetu is a voice-first, dignity-led platform developed by VariableWork Consulting to connect India’s informal and blue-collar workforce with employment opportunities, government welfare schemes, and peer support. The platform is currently working on regulatory compliance relating to the Code on Social Security (Central) Rules, 2026, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and GST regulations.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be an LL.B. student (3rd year or above in a 5-year programme or 2nd year or above in a 3-year programme), or
- Be a recent law graduate.
- Possess strong legal research and drafting skills in English.
- Be available to dedicate approximately 20–25 hours per week for the internship.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Interns will work on:
- Gig and platform worker compliance under the Code on Social Security and e-Shram registration.
- Compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
- Drafting legal documents including NDAs, Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Partner Agreements, and Vendor Agreements.
- Legal research relating to Section 9(5) of the CGST Act for platform-facilitated services.
- Preparing compliance calendars and regulatory research notes for the founding team.

- Internship Duration: 6 months
- Time Commitment: 20–25 hours per week
Stipend / Perks
Interns will receive:
- End-to-end ownership of live compliance workstreams.
- Internship Certificate.
- Letter of Recommendation.
- A drafting portfolio covering contracts, policies, and regulatory filings.
- Opportunity for a full-time role based on performance.
