Legal Job Opportunity – Legal Counsel (Complaints & Disputes)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Law (or equivalent, as applicable).
- Be a qualified lawyer or registered with the relevant Bar Association (as specified by the employer).
- Have at least 2 years of legal experience in private practice dealing with financial services.
- Possess excellent English communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in fintech.
- Experience in dispute resolution within a leading law firm.
- Familiarity with litigation, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), and regulatory matters.
- Previous in-house legal experience.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Conduct internal fact-finding investigations.
- Handle customer complaints before external dispute resolution forums in compliance with applicable laws.
- Represent Revolut in external dispute resolution proceedings.
- Assist with early-stage litigation, including drafting pre-action letters, responses to claims, and case reviews.
- Provide legal support to Legal Counsels across Revolut’s EEA branches.
- Analyse dispute outcomes and recommend process improvements.
- Identify legal risks and implement effective solutions.
- Work closely with internal teams during case investigations.
- Promote fair customer treatment and contribute to continuous legal and operational improvements.
