Compliance Associate
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Public Policy, Finance, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience in compliance or risk-related roles.
- Strong understanding of Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance.
- Knowledge of Legal Compliance, including interpretation of laws, regulations, and contractual obligations.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a remote work environment.
- Familiarity with digital collaboration tools and spreadsheets.
- Experience working with startups or SMBs will be an added advantage.
- Professional certifications or courses in Compliance, Risk Management, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), or related fields are desirable.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of compliance frameworks for clients.
- Conduct regulatory and legal research.
- Review and draft compliance-related documents.
- Maintain compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Assess business processes to identify compliance risks and gaps.
- Prepare compliance reports, trackers, and documentation.
- Assist in internal audits and compliance readiness assessments.
- Collaborate with senior advisors and client stakeholders.
- Communicate compliance findings and support remediation planning.
