Legal Job Opportunity – Advertising Law Corporate Counsel
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold a Law degree or an equivalent legal qualification in India.
- Have at least 6 years of relevant legal experience.
- Possess experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Marketing and advertising law
- Consumer communications
- Commercial contracts
- Technology and digital products
- E-commerce
- Legal support for rapidly growing business teams
- Demonstrate expertise in legal risk assessment, business advisory, and developing scalable legal processes.
- Experience with common law jurisdictions, including the U.S., U.K., or other global legal systems, will be an added advantage.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Providing legal support for global marketing campaigns and customer-facing initiatives.
- Advising on outbound communications through email, SMS, voice calls, push notifications, and other digital channels.
- Assessing legal requirements for launching marketing campaigns across different jurisdictions.
- Supporting advertising technology, media solutions, and performance marketing initiatives.
- Reviewing marketing, promotional, social media, advertising, and website content for legal compliance.
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating marketing-related agreements, including agency, sponsorship, influencer, affiliate, vendor, and content licensing contracts.
- Advising on promotions, sponsorships, influencer collaborations, and affiliate marketing arrangements.
- Collaborating with global legal, privacy, product, customer care, and commercial teams.
- Developing legal playbooks, templates, workflows, approval processes, and training materials.
- Identifying legal risks and recommending practical, business-focused solutions.
