Legal Job Opportunity (In-House Counsel Role)
Eligibility Criteria
- Qualified lawyer
- 5–8 years of relevant experience
- Preferably experience in a multinational corporation (manufacturing/distribution industry preferred)
- Prior law firm experience is an added advantage
- Excellent command of the English language
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (NDAs, distribution, agency, procurement contracts)
- Advise business teams on contract interpretation, risk allocation, and compliance
- Implement standard templates and contracting guidelines
Compliance Support
- Handle compliance queries and support internal compliance initiatives
- Assist in implementing global compliance policies (anti-bribery, trade compliance, data privacy, etc.)
- Support compliance investigations and training programs
Regional Projects
- Provide legal support for APAC projects such as restructuring and integration
- Assist in legal process improvements, digitization, and workflow standardization
Mode of Work
- Onsite (Mumbai, Maharashtra)
