Type / Nature of Opportunity

Legal Job Opportunity (In-House Counsel Role)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualified lawyer
  • 5–8 years of relevant experience
  • Preferably experience in a multinational corporation (manufacturing/distribution industry preferred)
  • Prior law firm experience is an added advantage
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities

Contract Management

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (NDAs, distribution, agency, procurement contracts)
  • Advise business teams on contract interpretation, risk allocation, and compliance
  • Implement standard templates and contracting guidelines

Compliance Support

  • Handle compliance queries and support internal compliance initiatives
  • Assist in implementing global compliance policies (anti-bribery, trade compliance, data privacy, etc.)
  • Support compliance investigations and training programs

Regional Projects

  • Provide legal support for APAC projects such as restructuring and integration
  • Assist in legal process improvements, digitization, and workflow standardization

Mode of Work

  • Onsite (Mumbai, Maharashtra)
