Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have:
- LL.B. or LL.M. qualification
- 3–6 years of experience in real estate legal and compliance roles
- Strong knowledge of:
- Property laws and land regulations
- Lease agreements and contract law
- Local registration and municipal processes
- Real estate documentation and title verification
- Experience handling government office procedures and regulatory liaison work
Preferred:
- Experience with commercial or residential property portfolios
- Exposure to RERA compliance and filings
- Familiarity with tools such as Excel, Yardi, MRI, or QuickBooks
- Prior experience with developer firms, real estate companies, or legal firms handling property matters
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Legal & Compliance
- Ensuring compliance with real estate laws, lease laws, RERA guidelines, and statutory requirements
- Drafting, reviewing, and vetting lease agreements, sale agreements, MoUs, and legal documents
- Conducting compliance audits of property records and transactions
- Managing property titles, due diligence, and legal clearances
- Advising internal teams on regulatory developments and legal risks
Government & Regulatory Liaison
- Coordinating with sub-registrar offices, municipal authorities, and land revenue departments
- Handling registrations, approvals, filings, and stamp duty processes
- Liaising with consultants and regulatory authorities
Revenue & Financial Oversight
- Monitoring rent, lease payments, deposits, and property-related revenue streams
- Assisting finance teams with invoicing, collections, budgeting, and compliance-related financial tracking
- Identifying revenue leakages and implementing corrective measures
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Working closely with finance, leasing, and property management teams
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Conducting compliance and documentation training for teams
