Legal Job Opportunity – Senior / Principal Associate (Litigation & Dispute Resolution)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold an LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- Be enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- Have 8–12 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in civil and commercial litigation, dispute resolution, and arbitration.
- Possess proven experience in independently handling matters before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, District Courts, Commercial Courts, Arbitral Tribunals, NCLT/NCLAT, and other judicial or quasi-judicial forums.
Preferred experience includes:
- Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution
- Domestic & International Arbitration
- Infrastructure, Construction & Engineering Disputes
- Regulatory & Constitutional Litigation
- Insolvency & Bankruptcy (IBC)
- Real Estate & Contractual Disputes
- Government Contracts & Commercial Advisory
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Independently handle civil, commercial, regulatory litigation, and arbitration matters.
- Represent clients before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, District Courts, Commercial Courts, Arbitral Tribunals, NCLT/NCLAT, Consumer Commissions, and other judicial, quasi-judicial, and regulatory forums.
- Draft and review pleadings, appeals, legal notices, written submissions, arbitration pleadings, legal opinions, and other litigation documents.
- Develop litigation and dispute resolution strategies in coordination with Partners and Senior Counsel.
- Conduct legal research, prepare case briefs, legal opinions, and strategy notes.
- Coordinate with clients, Senior Counsel, local counsel, court registries, and other stakeholders.
- Supervise and mentor junior associates.
- Ensure timely filings, procedural compliance, and effective case management.
- Contribute to client relationship management and business development initiatives.
