Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold a five-year LL.B. degree from a reputed university with a strong academic record.
- Have 4–9 years of experience in the corporate practice of a reputed law firm.
- Possession of an LL.M., CA, or CS qualification will be an added advantage.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Advise on mergers and acquisitions (M&A), private equity investments, venture capital funding, joint ventures, corporate commercial transactions, and strategic corporate transactions.
- Provide advisory services on corporate laws, regulatory frameworks, sector-specific laws, and compliance matters.
- Independently manage transactions from inception to completion, including negotiations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and commercial agreements.
- Keep abreast of legislative developments and judicial precedents affecting corporate transactions.
- Deliver assignments within strict timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Participate in knowledge management initiatives, including drafting articles and research papers.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and client relationship management.
- Mentor and guide junior associates within the team.
