Position: Legal Intern
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should be:
- LL.B. students (preferred); or
- Young Advocates with less than one year of practice experience.
- Interested in gaining practical exposure to litigation and legal procedures.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Selected interns will gain hands-on experience in:
- Client counselling and case assessment.
- Understanding legal issues relating to the SC/ST Act.
- Matters involving criminal intimidation and threats concerning circulation of private videos/images.
- Collection, review, and evaluation of documents and evidence.
- Legal research and drafting of complaints, representations, and legal notices.
- Coordination with clients and relevant authorities.
- Filing and follow-up of police complaints until receipt of the Diary Number.
- Litigation and pre-litigation strategy.
