Manager, Legal
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should have:
- An LL.B. degree.
- 8–10 years of relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in international corporate and contractual laws.
- Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Experience in business partnering and providing practical legal solutions to internal stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage projects, priorities and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and finalizing commercial contracts, including MSAs, vendor agreements, NDAs and lease deeds.
- Providing legal advice, identifying business risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Managing legal projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- Developing and monitoring corporate policies and ensuring regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
- Advising on global data protection laws, including GDPR and DPDPA.
- Managing intellectual property protection, enforcement and filings.
- Handling legal notices and pre-litigation matters and coordinating with external counsel.
- Advising on employment and labour law matters and supporting HR and business teams.
- Improving legal operations through process standardization, automation, SOPs, templates, workflows and trackers.
- Leveraging technology to optimize contract and legal processes.
