Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Hold an LL.B. degree. A postgraduate qualification in Law (LL.M.) is preferred.
- Have 3–5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Preferably possess prior experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Have exposure to litigation management, which will be considered an added advantage.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and managing brand protection leads received from distributors, customers, regulatory authorities, and other sources.
- Preparing and maintaining lead trackers and assessing actionable cases.
- Drafting and sending communications to Licensing Authorities and Police Authorities, including filing FIRs where necessary.
- Liaising with regulators, pharmaceutical associations, and law enforcement agencies.
- Coordinating enforcement actions with internal teams and external consultants.
- Working closely with legal, packaging, distribution, marketing, and sales teams to implement effective brand protection strategies.
- Conducting risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in supply chains and distribution networks.
- Identifying, onboarding, and managing investigation agencies across India.
- Reviewing investigation reports and evidence while obtaining internal and external approvals for enforcement actions.
- Initiating civil and/or criminal proceedings where required.
- Evaluating and supporting the implementation of anti-counterfeiting technologies such as serialization and track-and-trace systems.
- Providing guidance and training on brand protection initiatives.
- Preparing monthly reports and updates for senior management.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
