Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from a recognized university
- LL.M. will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of business law and general legal principles
- Expertise in contract law and legal drafting
- Skills in legal consulting and risk mitigation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in real estate or construction law will be preferred
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Managing legal compliance and legal affairs of the organization
- Coordinating with advocates and external legal counsel
- Conducting legal research and monitoring changes in applicable laws
- Drafting legal correspondence and official communications
- Tracking legal proceedings involving the company and its assets
- Maintaining and updating contracts, legal opinions, and policy records
- Assisting in litigation and dispute resolution matters
- Reviewing and standardizing contracts and legal documents
- Processing agreements for execution and coordinating with relevant departments
- Providing legal support to HR, finance, and operations teams
External Stakeholder Interaction
The role will involve regular interaction with:
- Government and regulatory authorities such as BMC, SRA, police departments, and licensing authorities
- External advocates and law firms
- Clients, including members, buyers, and tenants
- Contractors and vendors
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in real estate, property, or construction law
- Familiarity with legal compliance and dispute resolution in the real estate sector
