Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Have completed an LL.B. degree (3-year or 5-year course) within the last 12 months.
- Possess a strong academic record.
- Demonstrate strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Have excellent drafting and communication abilities.
- Be highly organized with strong time-management skills.
- Be capable of handling confidential information responsibly.
- Possess proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Prior internship experience with a law firm or corporate legal team is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted legal research tools will be an added advantage.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
- Review, summarize, and maintain records of commercial contracts.
- Assist in drafting and reviewing NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, and consultancy agreements.
- Prepare contract summaries, obligation trackers, and risk matrices.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders for contract execution and documentation.
Legal Research & Advisory
- Conduct legal research on corporate, commercial, employment, and technology-related laws.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments affecting business operations.
- Prepare legal notes, briefs, and compliance updates.
Compliance & Governance
- Assist in maintaining compliance trackers and statutory records.
- Support internal audits and compliance reviews.
- Help draft and update company policies and SOPs.
Data Privacy & Information Security
- Support privacy compliance initiatives.
- Research data protection laws and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in maintaining privacy documentation, notices, and records.
- Coordinate with business teams on privacy-related compliance matters.
Legal Operations
- Organize legal documentation and maintain repositories.
- Track legal requests and maintain status reports.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and management updates.
