Legal Internship
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should:
- Be a final-year LL.B. student or recent law graduate.
- Have a good understanding of legal principles, particularly the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
- Be comfortable reviewing NDAs and basic contracts.
- Demonstrate professionalism and integrity while handling confidential information.
Candidates with prior corporate or in-house legal internship experience may have an advantage.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
The Legal Intern will assist the Legal & Compliance team with:
- Legal research and analysis relating to corporate and contractual matters.
- Drafting, reviewing and organizing contracts, agreements and official correspondence.
- Reviewing and analysing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Supporting contract management processes.
- Maintaining legal records and documentation using contract management tools.
- Assisting with administrative and ad-hoc legal tasks.
Mode of Work
On-site
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
The role requires working from the office five days a week.
Skills Required
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Good drafting and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional advantage may be given to candidates who have:
- Prior internship experience with corporate or in-house legal teams.
- Familiarity with contract management tools or legal documentation systems.
- Exposure to SaaS, technology or startup environments.
