Position: Legal Intern
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants should:
- Be currently enrolled in or have recently completed an LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.
- Possess a strong foundational understanding of corporate, commercial, and regulatory law.
- Have excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills.
- Be proficient in legal document preparation and legal research tools.
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Maintain high standards of integrity, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
- Be capable of working collaboratively while managing multiple assignments within deadlines.
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
Selected interns will:
- Assist associates and partners with legal research and case law analysis.
- Prepare legal notes, briefs, and research memoranda.
- Draft, review, and format legal documents, contracts, and compliance filings under supervision.
- Organize case files and maintain legal documentation.
- Assist in client matter preparation, including summaries, checklists, and due diligence reports.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and prepare updates.
- Contribute to the firm’s internal knowledge management and research databases.
- Observe client meetings and proceedings where appropriate.
