About the Internship
Codilar is inviting applications for the position of Legal Intern. The internship provides practical exposure to technology law and IT-related legal work in a corporate environment.
Eligibility Criteria
- Recent law graduates
- Genuine interest in technology law and IT-related legal matters
- Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools and resources
- High attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic understanding of intellectual property law, contract law, and data privacy is desirable
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly
- Proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn
Areas of Work / Key Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research on technology law, intellectual property, privacy, and contract law
- Assisting in drafting, reviewing, and managing contracts and agreements related to IT services and partnerships
- Supporting compliance initiatives, including data protection and privacy law assessments
- Assisting with intellectual property matters such as trademarks, patents, monitoring, and enforcement
- Participating in document review and due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, litigation, and regulatory matters
- Preparing and maintaining legal documentation, records, and internal databases
- Providing general legal and administrative support to the legal team
- Tracking legal developments, industry trends, and best practices in the IT sector
